Customer Support Manager

The Customer Support Manager manages the Aftermarket team within the Customer Support department on an operational and tactical level. It is your responsibility to improve customer satistfaction by proposing, offering and selling service, preventive and corrective maintenance, spareparts, overhauls and system upgrades & modernization. As the Customer Support Manager you will lead the Aftermarket team consisting of a team of seven employees. You will report directly to the Customer Service Manager EMEA.

Job description 
  • Manages, develops and coaches the team.
  • You and your team are responsible for the sales of services and (preventive) maintenance to customers, agents and distributors via the aftermarket team.
  • You improve customer satisfaction.
  • You insure managerial roles are completed in a timely matter, i.e. Budgets, reporting, appraisals.
  • You are in direct contact with designated customers, agents and distributors in the Region.
  • You monitor the departmental KPI’s and take actions if necessary.
  • Owns the process from offering to invoicing and reporting in the service team
  • Driving the roll-out process
  • You initiate process improvements internally and externally.
  • You provide input for the service strategy.
  • You and your team maintain, strengthen and expand relationships with current customers.
  • You and your team sell both directly to the company’s own customers and in partnerships with Service Partners, agents/distributors.
  • You communicate with the customers in order to coordinate, sell and negotiate operations.
  • You discuss the progress and quality of the work performance with the Service Manager EMEA
  • You and your team support agents’ and distributors’ commercial activities.
  • You communicate with the relevant (in-house) departments to discuss the estimated scope, technical and commercial feasibility, quality and progress.
Your profile 
  • A technical university degree in supplemented with commercial education or experience. or equivalent qualifications from a university of applied science (HBO).
  • A high level of professional and intellectually capacity (at least higher profession education level).
  • You have a great affinity for engineering.
  • Able to work under pressure and know how to deal with critical situations
  • Ability to work with ERP systems as ISAH
  • You are proficient in MS office.
  • You can speak, read and write English and another foreign language (such as German, French or Spanish ).
  • You are familiar with energy systems and/or UPS systems
