Purchasing within Super B is one of the core competences. The people at Super B are very successful sourcers, and they are now looking at ways to further improve and innovate the supply chain. As a Manager Purchasing within Super B you will have a hands on role to do the strategic buying; mostly within China and Europe. You will be responsible for developing the department (2 fte). You will further draw up terms and conditions, innovate systems and you are the linking pin to other departments, such as Engineering, Operations, Warehouse, Sales & Service.

Super B is a world-class and fast growing developer and manufacturer of high-end lithium batteries and its Battery Management System. The BMS is being used by leading companies in the recreational, transportation, industrial and energy storage sector. Just to name a few of the customers: Ferrari, Aston Martin, Morelo, Rapido, Hencon and Bénéteau.
Super B is electrifying vessels, RV’s, Industrial Machinery etc. The product is not an off the shelve product. Super B is working closely together with our customers to cross the borders of current technology with our Battery Management Systems, and new features are being developed every day.

As a scale up, the organization is fast paced, dynamic, fun, and innovative. The challenge is to create an environment where the people feel energized, and learning is instilled in everyday life.

Responsibilities
  • Draw up a strategic Purchasing roadmap
  • Supplier Development
  • Negotiate prices and contracts
  • Improve internal work processes and the tools and methodologies used
  • Make determinations for equipment, staff and training needs
  • Tackle incidents together with your team
  • Align with other Managers, staff, customers and suppliers
  • Monitor quality of incoming goods
Requirements to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in a related field
  • Nevi 1+2
  • Preferably at least 5 years of experience leading a team in a high tech environment
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills such as communication and problem solving skills
  • Stress resilient
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Innovative, Organized, Social, and easy to get along with
