Product Sales Manager

The Product Sales Manager will join the Sales team and assist in making a valuable
difference in the century to come by working in a company that is leading in the energy transition. The Product Sales Manager plays a key role in managing all sales and marketing activities around Direct Air Capture (DAC).

What needs to be done?
  • Prepares marketing analyses and commercial plans, proposing strategies to increase DAC market share;
  • Initiate and execute winning strategy around DAC opportunities;
  • Maximize Howden DAC order bookings at agreed margins;
  • Initiate meetings with all stakeholders, including other Howden DAC related BU's, product developers, marketing and company heads to drive the business;
  • Identify new developments with the aim of further developing the potential and prospect projects to increase DAC market share;
  • Manage relationships with strategic customers, internal and external partners in the DAC market;
  • Lead Bid/no Bid initiatives with internal stakeholders based on DAC market strategy;
  • Keep track of information regarding potential and current customers and projects, competitive position and relevant developments in CRM and other applicable systems.


What do you need to bring?
  • Relevant Bachelor or Master degree (Engineering or Business science);
  • Technical knowledge, commercial understanding and creativity to position Howden strategically;
  • Ability to understand the DAC market and connect with stakeholders in different stages of project development;
  • Ability to understand customers’ needs to provide a competitive advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including an open and engaging communication style;
  • Team player, responsible and a self-starter;
  • We prefer candidates with >5 years of relevant experience;
  • Ability to travel and align with different cultures;
  • Fluency in English, Dutch language skills are preferred.
