Malvern Panalytical is looking for a project lead who will lead a cross-functional team through automation projects, from conceptualization, to design, build, install and commissioning. You will be challenged to make the customer’s dream of their new laboratory come true. You will be in close contact with the end customer, and will implement the solution more with them, than only for them. Challenges lie in speed optimization, robustness and usability. Travelling to the customers for meetings and installations comes with the territory, of course.
Working in the PAS (Process and Automation Solutions) department, the position encompasses managing automation and special machine projects for both external and internal customers. Normally these are automated laboratory setups for industrial laboratories. During the conceptualisation, construction and delivery of projects, the person Malvern Panalytical is looking for is leading the project on site and participating in the project team as a technical knowledge provider through a hands-on approach. The person will be the primary contact for the customer during the project and afterwards.
Higher Technical Educated, Mechanical / Electrical engineering or Technical Informatics with the addition of Projectmanagement (Like Prince2 or equivalent)
