Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate reporting of financial data for the entities in the EMEA region, including the preparation of the reporting packages.
• Coordination of the monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Prepare the forecast and budget per entity in collaboration with the business.
• Prepare and participate in the Monthly Business Review meeting.
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and timely recorded.
• Primary point of contact for Company’s external auditors and other financial consultants or authorities.
• Prepare the monthly forecast and yearly budget per entity.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies and J-SOX.
• Collaborate with Group Controller for initiating, changing and implementation of financial policies, procedures and financial controls.
• Initiate and implement process improvements.
• You proactively discuss the progress and quality of the work with your team and the Group Controller.
• You proactively discuss the financial results with the management team and other stakeholders.

Your profile 

• A Bachelor degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business Studies, Business Economics or equivalent qualifications from a university of applied science (HBO).
• You are a strong Financial with ample experience, preferably in internationally operating organisations or accounting firm(s).
• Minimal 5 years of relevant working experience.
• You are Pro-active
• Eye for details
• Understanding of ERP applications.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Expert in MS Office.
